Biography
Dr. Tugrul Cetinkaya obtained the PhD degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Department from Sakarya University, Turkey, in 2015. He worked as a Postdoc Research Associate in National Graphene Institute at the University of Manchester between 2017 and 2018. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Engineering Faculty, Sakarya University, Turkey. He manages a national project on li-air flow batteries and an international project on carbon free cathode materials for li-air batteries under EIG Japan Concert consortium. He has more than 60 published peer-review journals regarding electrochemical energy storage such as li-air batteries, li-ion batteries and supercapacitors.
Research Interest
His research interests focus on development of novel nanocomposite electrodes using 2D materials, liquid and polymer electrolytes and scalable performance of nanocomposite electrodes for electrochemical energy storage devices.
