Biography
Hock Chun Ong received his BA and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, USA. He currently is an Associate Professor in Physics Department, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been working on amorphous carbon, diamond, and ZnO for years and his current interest is light-matter interaction focusing on plasmonics. He has published more than 100 technical papers on fluorescence and sensing. He has been serving as an organizer of international conferences.
